Historical charm with a personal touch
Staying in a Superior Double Room Garden View was an experience to remember. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, sharing captivating stories about the house’s rich history during breakfast, complemented by Peter's delicious homemade bread. The grounds were simply beautiful, offering a relaxing escape with lovely views of grazing horses. One aspect that could use improvement is the maintenance of the drive leading to the house.

Perfect for a Unique Experience
The family running the place were super nice, they treated us like real guests, not just customers. Breakfast was great, the homemade bread was like nothing I've had before, and talking with Ben about the house's history was a highlight.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but you get what you pay for.

Conveniently located just minutes from the port, the Hazlitt room accommodated our needs perfectly with its cleanliness and comfort, despite being the smallest option. Peter's welcoming demeanor added to the experience, and the early breakfast exceeded our expectations. The tasty spare ribs served during breakfast were a delightful highlight, further solidifying our decision to return on future trips.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the one-bedroom apartment that had an amazing view of the courtyard, and I can't stress enough how comfortable the bed was, even more than what we have at home. with the nearby Morrab Gardens just a 2 km stroll away and the delightful Penlee House Gallery and Museum only almost 2 km from our door, this place is perfect for walkers like us who love soaking up the city's charm.
